About the role:

An HR generalist plays a crucial role in an organization by providing data-driven insights and support to the HR department and all employees. 

This position is an entry level and requires a combination of analytical, communication and human resource expertise to contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out HR administration processes such as: Admission and Integration of new Employees, Vacation Control, Working Hours Control (Hour Bank), Registration Maintenance, Terminations
  • Check the calculation and closing of the payroll of two legal entities of the group in Brazil carried out by a third party
  • Carry out the flow of payments for suppliers and group benefits
  • Support employees with questions and operational demands regarding the payroll flow and benefits
  • Support the team with organization and flows of administrative demands, such as reviewing and sending documents for signature

 

Experiences, skills and competencies:

Essential

  • Generalist knowledge of HR subsystems, having worked for at least 6 months in the area, in medium or small multinational or national companies
  • Knowledge of labor legislation, with experience in personnel administration and payroll closing routines
  • Training in Administration, HR or similar training
  • Essential knowledge of payroll and taxes
  • Essential knowledge of labor legislation, personnel management routines and union relations
  • Essential knowledge on benefits management
  • Advanced English
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Experience with internal and external customer service

Desirable

  • Fiscal and tax knowledge
  • Have worked in publishing or the educational industry
