The Solution Sales Specialist will be a key player in accelerating our growth by winning new clients and expanding our reach within the academic and corporate sectors. This role requires a proactive, sales-driven individual capable of navigating complex sales cycles and building relationships with key stakeholders. You will join a global team, working closely with product experts, other Solution Specialists and local sales teams, all with a great team spirit.



  • Selling workflow solutions or similar software products
  • Managing and influencing multiple customer’s stakeholders including but not limited to university libraries, faculty leaders and Senior Researchers
  • Working with product managers, dedicated marketing experts and local sales
  • Getting meetings with senior key decision influencers (research leaders related to life sciences, Laboratory directors, R&D managers)
  • Demonstrating the value of a product based on individual needs and handling all kind of objections
  • Getting information on customer’s decision criteria and executing tailored activities to meet them
  • Able to compete successfully against other purchase options that customer have



  • College/University degree, an advanced degree in a natural science field is a plus
  • 3+ years of solutions selling experience (software, research databases)
  • Experience in selling to universities beyond the library and/or Life Science, Pharma, Biotech companies
  • Excellent communication (reading, writing, speaking and listening) and interpersonal skills
  • Trained in a solution selling methodology or similar
  • Self-motivated, quick learner, disciplined time management and result-driven
  • Entrepreneurial mindset

US Annualized Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000. The salary offer may vary based on work experience, education, skill level and equity. The US salary range does not align with the salary ranges in other countries when converted to the currency of that country.
