General objective of the position: Responsible for the analysis, development and effective implementation of an annual Marketing and Communication Plan with a strategic focus by business line, as well as for setting up the Marketing Information System to support strategic, commercial and editorial decision making.
Main roles & responsibilities:
- Analyze, develop and implement product strategies, marketing plans and programs.
- Develop a digital marketing plan.
- Coordinate development of web design and web promotional campaigns as well as social media strategy, content, topics, metrics, KPIs.
- Coordination of projects established in the marketing plan with other areas of the company.
- Monitoring, research and analysis of market and market trends (products, customers, competition, effectiveness strategies).
- Control of the area's budget by business line
- Development, planning and supervision of internal and external communication strategy.
- Planning of key events: Seminars, regional meetings, sales conventions, trade fairs.
- Inventory control of teaching resources and promotional material.
- Definition of commercial coverage
Experience, skills and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field; Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, etc.
- Minimum 5 years in positions such as Marketing Management, Marketing Coordination and Product Management.
- Knowledge of the educational market and target audience: to be able to develop effective marketing strategies.
- Ability to conduct market research: to understand customer needs and wants and adapt marketing strategy accordingly.
- Creativity: to develop innovative advertising campaigns and promotions that attract the attention of the public.
- Communication skills: to persuade and negotiate with suppliers and partners, as well as to effectively convey the company's vision and objectives.
- Digital and technology savvy: to use digital platforms and tools to reach target audiences and measure the success of marketing strategies.
- Leadership and team management skills: to motivate and lead a marketing team to achieve company objectives.
- Analytical skills: to evaluate the performance of marketing strategies and make data-driven decisions.
- Marketing knowledge: In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and strategies in the publishing and education sector.
- Experience in event organization
- Language mastery at a B2 or higher
