Senior Communities Manager – Editorial
Location: London, New York, Jersey City & Shanghai (Hybrid Working)

The Communities and Engagement team at Springer Nature uses online engagement tools, including online communities, blogs, and social media channels, to build and strengthen our relationships with our authors, editors, Editorial Board Members, and the wider research community around the world. The Senior Communities Manager is responsible for the development and growth of a communities-centred approach to editorial engagement; working closely with the Editorial Engagement and Platform teams to build and manage a network of over 3000 Editorial Communities that seek to strengthen Springer Nature’s relationships with our Editorial Board Members.
Responsibilities:
- Editorial Communities development: Supporting the creation/delivery of a network of editorial communities for Springer Nature Editors and Editorial Board Members.
- Strategic delivery: Supporting and facilitating the development of a strategic editorial engagement approach centred on digital engagement and online Communities.
- Editorial engagement activity: Ongoing delivery of a Communities-centred approach to editorial engagement.
- Team management: Ensuring team resources are effectively deployed to meet the needs of the organisation and individual team members.

In order to comply with various pay transparency laws and legislations in the United States, the salary range and benefits for this position are listed below. This information is only applicable to US-based candidates and the actual salary offer may vary based on work experience, education and skill level. Annualized Base Salary Range: $85,000 - $105,000.
