Digital Content Producer

The Digital Content Producer will be responsible for designing and producing digital content to support projects across the Corporate Affairs team and other areas within the business as necessary. The role will report to the Head of Digital Content and Platforms and will be based in our London office, working on a hybrid basis.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Produce high-quality digital content, including videos, podcasts, and images, that aligns with Springer Nature's brand and messaging and that has accessibility built in.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the Corporate Affairs team, to understand their content needs and develop content that supports their objectives.
  • Manage the production process for digital content, including scriptwriting, storyboarding, filming, and editing.
  • Where necessary, work with external vendors, such as creative agencies, videographers and photographers, to produce high-quality content.
  • Ensure that all digital content is compliant with legal and regulatory requirements and that any necessary approvals are obtained.
  • Ensure that all assets are properly organised and easily accessible to internal stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital content production, and share this knowledge with the rest of the Corporate Affairs team.

 

Requirements

  • Excellent creative skills and the ability to produce high-quality digital content that aligns with Springer Nature’s brand and messaging.
  • Proficiency in using video editing software, in particular Adobe Premiere Pro, to produce professional-quality videos.
  • Experience using Canva, Photoshop, and other design tools to create high-quality visual assets, such as infographics, social media graphics, and images.
  • Experience with audio editing software, such as Adobe Audition, to produce high-quality podcasts.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure that they are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Experience working in an inclusive corporate or business environment, with an understanding of how to align content production with business objectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and the ability to optimize content for engagement and reach.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure that all content is compliant with legal and regulatory requirements
