Job Title: Commercial Project Coordinator

Location: London – Hybrid Working Model

 

About The Role:

 

The Commercial Partnerships Team at Springer Nature is seeking an organised Commercial Project Coordinator to support commercial projects, ensuring that these projects are planned and delivered efficiently and on time, to the client’s expectations, and in line with contractual agreements.

 

You will be responsible for communication to all project stakeholders and project participants - internal and external, maintaining project and team documentation, delivery of projects, adaptation of project plans and overseeing quality control throughout the project.

 

This is an exciting and varied role where you could be involved with multiple projects, working in an environment where there are defined projects management processes, structures and resources.  

  

Role Responsibilities:

 

  • Team support – supporting the project stakeholders and the Commercial Partnerships teams on project and commercial queries.
  • The handling of enquiries related to the project and project team.
  • Represent the project and the Commercial Partnerships team at internal and external meetings.
  • Project activity planning – responsible for liaising with the Commercial Partnerships team to ensure awareness of project pipelines.
  • Pre-project support – offering specific non-sales related project management insights and expertise, to help shape contractual components, project workflows and deliverables, for complex projects.
  • Project administration – assuming the role of main point of contact for internal and external project stakeholders once contracts have been signed and supplied by the Commercial Partnerships Sales Team members. This includes:
  • Ensuring the submission and sharing of project components and deliverables.
  • Creating and maintaining organisational systems and documentation for project team use.
  • Managing the relationships with multiple project stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Creating and enforcing project schedules and project trackers.
  • Managing the scheduling, communication and logistics for time-sensitive projects tasks.
  • Keeping project related systems updated.
  • Ensuring regular communication and updates between internal stakeholders and sharing updates from external stakeholders.

  

 

Experience, Skills & Qualification requirements:

 

Essential

  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through creative, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and coordinate tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial. Strong time management skills needed.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Organisational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • GCSE or equivalent.
  • Ability to proactively identify on-going, recurring problems and use initiative to resolve them promptly.

 

Desirable

  • Experience supporting senior management and sales teams.
  • Experience in an office support and/or coordination role.
  • An interest in publishing and science.
  • Previous project management experience is desirable.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Project management qualifications are desirable, or an understanding of project methods.
