About Us

We need a software developer to join the team responsible for building services and integrations around our enterprise solutions. We are providing end-to-end service to our internal customers with the goal to help the business improve their processes and reduce their costs. Our services enable them to build improved experiences on Springer Nature’s user-facing platforms.

To achieve this we work closely with our partners across the organisation to evolve business models; keeping us competitive in a rapidly changing digital landscape.

You will be joining a cross functional team with different nationalities, backgrounds and experience levels. All team members collaborate to deliver solutions that best satisfy the needs of our internal and external customers.

About You

  • You have several years of experience in Software Development.

  • You have profound knowledge in Kotlin, Node.JS, JavaScript or Java.

  • You are willing to adapt to different programming languages if the need arises.

  • You have experience working with cloud platforms.

  • You are comfortable with Agile development practices generally and can adapt to the team’s ways of working.

  • You are comfortable with pair programming and working in a trunk-based development environment; practising Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.

  • You understand the benefits of Test Driven Development and automation.

  • You see the value in developers owning production software and view failure as a chance to learn.

  • You take a pragmatic approach to the use of libraries, and the adoption of new technologies while staying open to opportunities for innovation.

  • You understand the importance of maintainability, readability, and observability in sustaining the platform health and the team’s capacity to deliver.

  • You believe in and can articulate our company strategy on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and you want to make Springer Nature Digital a more inclusive environment for everyone.
