Solution Architect SAP ERP/Fulfillment (SD/MM) (m/f/d)

You will be part of the SAP Fulfillment team in the IT - Global Business Systems department. Our goal is to provide innovative standard software, with a focus on SAP, to help our business units achieve their goals.
Tasks:
- Conceptualization, design, further development, and support of the internationally used SAP media solution of the Springer Nature Customer Service Center, which includes, among others, the SAP modules SD and MM
- Requirements management, process mapping with the various specialist departments, and process design of future solutions in SAP ERP and/or S/4 Hana as an integral part of the entire Springer SAP landscape (CRM, BI, PI ...)
- Creation of business and implementation concepts for the implementation of in-house developments in SAP based on ABAP
- Implementing the requirements of the business directly in SAP as well as coordinating the implementation as an integral part with the other productive running applications (e.g., from the areas of finance, controlling, CRM and business information)
- Experience in successful project execution with cross-functional teams and ability to organize and facilitate workshops with internal and external partners
Prerequisites:
- Degree in computer science/business informatics, business engineering or equivalent academic with a focus on computer science/business administration
- Several years of experience in working with the SAP modules SD and MM - especially in customizing the SAP standard and the business process analysis including development of programming specifications
- Strong knowledge of ABAP programming, SAP Workbench (e.g., debugging, user exits, etc.) as well as IDOC and interface processing
- Experience in successful project execution with cross-functional teams and able to organize and facilitate workshops if necessary
- Solid English and German language skills, both written and spoken
- Additional knowledge of S/4 Hana or the SAP modules FI and CO or other SAP products and systems would be an advantage
- Communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Ability to work under pressure and independently
- Ability to work across locations (occasional travel is required)
