HR Coordinator

For our HR department, location Dordrecht, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic HR Coordinator who enjoys taking on all-round HR matters in an international setting. Because we work in a matrix organization, you have to communicate a lot with various colleagues abroad. It is therefore important that you have a good knowledge of the English language.

 

Key tasks:


As an HR Coordinator you are responsible for the daily HR administration and you proactively support your HR Manager in a wide range of HR related matters.
 

  • You are responsible for the execution of all personnel administrative and payroll related changes. This ranges from preparing and drafting change forms, to drafting and processing employment contracts, preparing salary changes, drafting of confirmation letters and communication, managing and maintaining employee files and processing changes in the various HR related systems;
  • You are the first point of contact for employees and managers with questions about (administrative) HR issues, compliance with the local and global HR policy and the collective labor agreement;
  • You monitor the processes and systems and solve any bottlenecks together with the (HR) colleagues. For this you work closely with the HR Manager and Payroll;
  • You manage and monitor the sick and recovery notifications and the actions required in the absence process, in accordance with the Wet Verbetering Poortwachter;
  • You participate in various annually recurring HR projects, such as the annual salary review process and  the bonus process;
  • You provide generated and collated HR information, as needed to internal and external stakeholders. Ranging from salary or absence overviews for managers to reports for the Works Council or Global HR and Finance colleagues.

 

Skills and experience:

 

  • You like to be in contact with managers, employees and external parties and to answer their questions and help them further and you feel comfortable doing this in an international environment;
  • You have (extensive) experience as an HR Coordinator. This means you are able to work independently, but you can also fall back on colleagues for complex matters;
  • Because of your experience you are also able to analyze processes and optimize them where necessary;
  • You have a head for numbers and have experience with Microsoft Office applications, in particular  Excel, Outlook and Word. Experience with Google Drive and HR systems (such as Workday) is an advantage;
  • Your English language skills are above average and you feel comfortable communicating verbally and in writing;
  • You have a positive, proactive and energetic approach;
  • You are customer friendly and know how to communicate with your stakeholders in a pleasant way;
  • You are able to set your own priorities and manage time and work in an organized way. Your goal is to work as efficiently as possible.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources or other relevant studies;
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administrative HR function or equivalent preferably in an international (matrix) organization;
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel);
  • A strong command of the English and Dutch language, both written and spoken;
  • Good interpersonal communication and organizational skills.

 

You will be working in a medium-sized HR team. The team works in a hybrid way, working in the office several days per week as well as working from home.
