Transfer Pricing Manager

You will be part of the global tax team based in Berlin. Together with your colleagues you will support globally all transfer pricing topics of the Springer Nature Group. You can expect exciting and challenging tasks related to the entire range of transfer pricing topics of a global publishing group in an international team.

Key Tasks:

• You analyze business models, and you establish and implement appropriate TP models together with colleagues from the TP and tax team.
• Together with Corporate Finance you monitor the existing TP models, and you ensure that these models are continuously improved where necessary.
• As the Transfer Pricing team, we jointly establish the global and local TP documentation – with the use of a tool and in close collaboration with and the support of external advisors.
• You regularly collaborate and exchange your views with the operational business areas, the corporate and finance teams as well as external advisors and tax authorities.
• You support in group projects with your TP expertise (e.g. post-merger integration, restructuring, operationalization of transfer pricing).

Qualifications, skills, and experience:

• Completed degree in Economics and/or Business Administration or Law (or equivalent).
• Several years of relevant work experience in a tax consulting company or group tax department, covering transfer pricing.
• Very good theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of transfer pricing as well as proven experience in transfer pricing projects.
• Affinity with numbers, quick comprehension, and strong analytical skills.
• High level of commitment and sense of responsibility, professionalism, and intercultural competency.
• Enthusiasm for an interdisciplinary field of work with interfaces to controlling and accounting.
• Fluent in German and English.
