We are currently looking for a Senior Manager Marketing Effectiveness (m/f/d) to join our team. As part of the Marketing Effectiveness and Strategic Projects team, you will be responsible for deep diving into our marketing processes and ways of working and applying a curious mind to improvement potential. This will include owning various marketing processes, overseeing continuous improvement programs,  regular marketing performance reviews, and operationalizing new strategies in order to embed them into business processes. 


In addition, you will be the ‘go to’ person for business and use case analysis in the marketing strategy and wider marketing team, helping or facilitating with others to collect requirements, break them down and turn them into action plans. The focal points of this role will flex based on the needs of the wider strategy team. 

This role requires someone who is fuelled by the question “how can we do this better”, the skills to take apart complex processes, and has the structural approach to transform the way we work. 


Core accountabilities for the role include to: 

  • Own the roadmap for Research Marketing to improve processes and workflows within and beyond marketing. This will involve prioritising and overseeing projects that apply methodologies (including Process Mapping & Analysis, Process development & engineering) to improve performance - both effectiveness and efficiency 
  • Embed process development mind-set as a capability within marketing by championing its benefits
  • Coordination of end-to-end process development across marketing areas
  • Channel benchmarking
  • End-to-end marketing reporting and feedback cycles 
  • Manage complex projects to effectively identify business requirements, find solutions and make them become a reality 
  • Coordinate RM Training program with L&D to upskill the wider marketing team
  • Operationalize new processes & strategies through integrated training programs
  • Represent Research Marketing interests in cross-unit projects  

Experience, skills and qualification requirements



  • Understanding and experience of applying business analysis techniques to improve, automate and reengineer complex workflows, with tangible and quantifiable impact
  • Experience running/facilitating workshops to identify problems and/or solutions (inward/outward)
  • Experience in advanced audience segmentation and targeting advantageous 
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing and marketing automation techniques
  • Agile project management/ agile marketing experience
  • Experienced indirect influencer with the ability to inspire and persuade senior stakeholders (Director, VP level), including in technical functions (analytics, IT)
  • Experience of representing marketing and/or voicing marketing requirements in cross-group projects/initiatives
  • Experience of applying change management techniques
  • Proven (generalist) marketing experience with demonstrable experience in identifying opportunities and implementing new capabilities in a lateral function
  • Experience in marketing or business consulting advantageous
  • Keen understanding of what drives our business and preferably experience working with multiple customer groups
  • Strong understanding of how technology can be applied
  • Process Mapping & Analysis (preferably with experience as a Marketing Consultant, Business or Process Analyst)
  • Curiosity, Creativity and the ability to produce innovative ideas
  • Advanced problem structuring/solving techniques
  • Project management 
  • Strong analytics skills 
  • Ability to synthesise diverse research to inform decisions
  • Ability to commission and interpret marketing data to drive decision-making
  • Strong communication & presentation skills - verbal & written 
  • Ability to manage shifting and conflicting priorities and remain effective, good time management
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a global environment


  • University degree, preferable business / marketing
