As part of our Office of the CIO, you will develop a robust IT performance framework and orchestrate reporting and analysis activities for IT performance for the global Technology division. 

You will work closely with colleagues in Technology, our key business partners in Finance, HR and other group functions as well as key stakeholders to continuously assess information needs for performance management. 

You will be designing, maintaining and continuously improving the processes, tools, data and reporting views for IT Performance. This includes financial, operational KPIs, our strategic objectives and key result metrics as well as risk management data and regulatory reporting.

You will be supporting our IT-Management functions in Portfolio- and Project Management, IT Governance and support our IT Leadership Team’s strategic initiatives with regard to performance data and management. 

You will design and introduce an approach to IT service costing which clearly defines the IT service portfolio and reveals the cost structure of delivering these services. Furthermore, you will drive an understanding of how cost drivers impact current and potential IT investments or divestments and can build, communicate and execute business cases backed by data.

By providing a bottom-up, detailed cost perspective through analysis of financial reports, cost optimization opportunities and efforts are accounted for, enabling systematic and periodic evaluation of operating expenditures associated with the IT portfolio. The role will ensure all necessary actions and initiatives are set up and monitored to support the achievement of our cost-optimization and efficiency targets.

The key objective is to provide business units and IT departments with a common framework to evaluate performance and plan for strategic and continuous improvements and future investments while optimizing our cost base.

What you will do: 

IT Benchmarking

IT benchmarking to assess the maturity of our processes and services provided IT budget and efficiency benchmarking to visualize and baseline key metrics, compare to peers, prioritize opportunities and plan improvements

IT Risk & Compliance Monitoring & Reporting

You work with teams and managers across Technology and key partners in internal and external audit or GRC to turn risk information into valuable insight for informed decisions and effective risk management. 

IT Vendor Performance Monitoring & Reporting
You define and incorporate outcome-based vendor performance metrics into broader vendor contracting, management and governance frameworks to track all aspects of vendor value.

You work closely with our Procurement business partner to establish a standardized, repeatable process for regular collection, analysis and review of vendor performance data to effectively expose the critical measures to the right audience and to inform regular vendor reviews.

IT Portfolio Health Monitoring & Reporting

You work with our Portfolio Office, Enterprise Architecture and key business partners in HR and Finance to monitor the workforce allocation to and performance of our run-grow-transform portfolio, ensuring we support business and product in achieving the expected value from our investments, we are efficient and effective in our processes and we comply with external and internal guidelines and standards.

IT Financial Planning & Monitoring (beyond the traditional ledger information)

You develop a systematic and coherent approach to reporting based on the needs of different audiences consuming the information, as well as the tools needed to improve transparency for the Technology Senior Leadership team and Business Partners for the how, and why of IT resource allocation and spending.

You work closely with our Finance Business Partner to prepare and facilitate a solid budget preparation and continuous forecast process with the IT Senior Leadership team. You will facilitate the process of continuously identifying savings and efficiency opportunities 

and monitor and report on financial risk.

What you bring to the table:

• Minimum 10+ years of industry experience in technology / technology finance management
• Excellent analysis data management and reporting skills
• Ability to convert data into insight, fit-for-purpose reports and executable actions 
• Exceptional soft and interpersonal skills, including community building, facilitation and negotiation
• Strong skills in IT Performance Management in corporate IT environments
• Strong skills in influencing and nudging senior leaders and IT teams
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English language 
• Solid planning and organizational skills
• Familiarity with major ITSM standards, such as ITIL and SIAM.
• Advanced skills in tooling for data management and reporting
• Experience in supporting leadership in IT Management, IT Operations and Vendor Management
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects and initiatives at once
• Experience in heterogeneous and complex IT environments.
