Springer Fachmedien Wiesbaden GmbH, Wiesbaden, Germany

Your tasks:

  • Editorial internationalization: You take care of the machine translation of journalistic texts German-English/English-German as well as their correction and maintenance in the content management system.
  • Editorial support: You will work on cross-media projects, help with research and other editorial tasks such as content management on various channels.
  • Creating your own content: You research and write your own texts and assist in the production of photo, video or audio formats.

Our requirements:

  • Very good knowledge of the English and German languages, both written and spoken: You have a good command of grammar and spelling in both languages.
  • Interest in cross-media journalism: You want to work with off- and online media.
  • Interest in mobility, technology, sustainability: You deal with these topics and follow the developments in the media.
  • Basic technical understanding and interest: You basically know how an electric motor or fuel cell works and don't wonder if 'green hydrogen' shimmers in a color.
  • Initiative, creativity and reliability: We don't have to take you by the hand around the clock. After a good induction, you will look for the next tasks yourself and always deliver your results on time - even without a reminder.
  • Class B driver's license: Not only do you have it, but you can also move a car from A to B safely.
  • Ongoing full-time study: you meet the requirements for student worker employment.

Initial journalistic experience is an advantage, but not a prerequisite: We will be happy to teach you the basics of journalism.

We offer you:

  • A regular position as a working student (gn), preferably for the entire duration of your studies.
  • Journalistic work in technical and business editorial departments of a large, renowned international trade and scientific publishing house.
  • Average 10 hours of work per week with largely flexible scheduling within project requirements.
