We’re looking for a talented individual to take responsibility for developing and executing regional brand strategy for the English Language Teaching product portfolios and to use their understanding of customer requirements to aid brand development and drive sales. Working with the Global Brand and Portfolio Management team you’ll enjoy applying a data-driven approach to marketing, whilst positioning the brand offering against market competition. You’ll work closely with the Global Brand and Portfolio Management team as well as local academic and sales teams in Mexico and the wider Latin/Central America region to formulate relevant go to market strategies and to deliver successful campaigns executing on these strategies.



  • Work with data, research, sales and academic functions to propose local/regional segment strategy, which inputs into the global segment strategy.
  • Follow up  forecasting for global Investment Approval (TBC) process.
  • Consult local stakeholders and feed local requirements to global brand/publishing functions responsible for product development (especially CVP, KSPs, Title, Covers, Branding Decks).
  • Provide sales teams with clear targeting goals and evaluate the implementation of targeting via school visits in order to deliver reports to Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Feed local requirements to global messaging for key brands and if needed develop local market-specific messaging (versioned from global messaging or develop new ones).
  • Adapt global tools for sales enablement and work with local academic functions to implement it with sales teams.
  • Work closely with the global campaigns team to agree academic themes, ensure that global and local campaigns plans and assets are aligned to local go to market strategy and communicate correct messaging; source local experts and feed into global campaigns plans, version global assets in line with local requirements and create new ones as needed.
  • Work with the local social media agency to develop a digital marketing plan for each segment.
  • Own local messaging and catalogue copy, as well as local pack configurations.
  • Work with local Sales, Marketing Management and global Brand and Commercial functions to set local prices in line with market benchmark and global pricing guidelines.
  • Work with local sales teams and provide them with support in launching key products
  • Drive the development of branding of any local-specific ELT products
  • Coordinate local input into global Birthday Reviews and deliver actions.

Experience, skills and qualifications




  • Experience of working in a global environment effectively managing brands for the product portfolio
  • Demonstrable experience in brand management and global brand initiatives applying a data-driven approach to marketing
  • Solid experience of working in global teams and understanding regional variations and the impact on customer requirements 
  • Strong influencing and communication skills with the credibility and gravitas to drive decision-making
  • Solid experience in producing effective and impactful marketing assets for a wide variety of channels, including print and digital
  • Strong organisation and planning skills with the ability to work under pressure
  • Language mastery at a B2 or higher.



  • Experienced Marketing positions with demonstrable track record of managing product portfolios in global organisations
  • Relevant marketing or professional qualifications
  • Ability to use a wide range of tools to deliver effective brand campaigns and assess data
  • Experience in educational/publishing fields
  • Digital Marketing skills e.g. effective management of websites, social media (enterprise social media platforms)
