HR Manager    (fulltime, 36 hours)

 

For our HR department, we are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic HR Manager who enjoys taking on an all-round HR role in an international setting. Your main focus lies in the Netherlands and more specifically for a dedicated business area in Dordrecht, while you will also be part of a global matrix organization and will closely cooperate with various colleagues in the Netherlands and internationally.

 

Tasks and responsibilities
 

Account Management

  • You act as an account manager and business partner for all managers in the dedicated area of responsibility in the Dordrecht office of Springer Nature, regarding a wide range of HR related topics
  • You collaborate with regional and global HR colleagues to find solutions for local matters and act as interface to local management
  • You closely cooperate with other colleagues in the HR team for the Netherlands; the HR Director, HR Managers, the Payroll Manager and HR Assistants. You provide guidance and coaching to the HR Assistants in your daily cooperation within the team 

 

HR Advisory

  • You provide 1:1 HR advisory to managers in HR and leadership-related topics​
  • You provide guidance to managers along the entire employee lifecycle and will support in daily HR topics​
  • You deliver generalist expertise in the HR field to manage the breadth and depth of requests to be coordinated and fed-back to managers
  • You will contribute to global strategic business initiatives and you bring in local expertise in the cooperation with colleagues globally

 

HR policy creation and development

  • You contribute to the delivery of global HR projects and manage local HR projects
  • You identify and translate internal and external (legal) developments relevant to HR. You drive the creation of local HR policies in response to these developments as well the translation of policies into implementation of processes for the HR department and the business
  • You keep up-to date with and provide specialist expertise and support on specific topics, such as Employee Development, Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits, Labor Law, Pensions

  • You are able to analyze problems and come up with practical solutions
  • You have strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
  • You have a positive, proactive and energetic approach
  • You enjoy working in a matrix and hybrid organization
  • You are flexibility and able to manage several priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment

 

  • You have a Bachelor degree in Human Resources or other relevant studies
  • You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an HR Advisor or HR Manager role, preferably in an international (matrix) organization
  • You have solid Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • You have a strong command of the English and Dutch language, both written and spoken
